My Little Boy turned 1!

Nov. 16th 2008 -Happy Birthday Cash money!!!! You have brought an incredible amount of joy into our family. Elle can't stop kissing you, I can't stop squeezing you, and Dad can't stop making you laugh. You've had a little bit of a tough first year but you're always so happy that no one would know any different. It's not very often that we see your little face without a huge smile on it. We've decided that sometimes you're a daddy's boy and sometimes you're a mommy's boy but your very favorite thing is when we're all together in the same room. You can't stand it if Elle and Dad are playing and you aren't in on the fun. Your favorite show is Monsters Inc. It's so funny...everytime we put it on you stop and watch it forever and you don't do that with anything else! You can palm just about anything with your long fingers and you're so quick. Dad loves that. We had so fun celebrating your birthday (even though you burnt your little finger on your first cake:( and loved watching you open all your toys. Your sister actually helped you out quite a bit there. Thanks for helping me make your basketball cake and then actually eating it. Made me feel pretty good considering Grandpa thought it was a football. True he's color blind but still... We love you so much and can't imagine our family without you. And I don't care what anyone says. I love your hair. (*see 2 posts below) Happy Happy Happy 1st birthday. We love you!!!

Happy 30th to my Best Friend

Nov 13th marked the big 30 for Toby. We had so much fun celebrating 3 different times this week. Wednesday we went to Red Robin with the Christensen's for a great meal then back to our house for cake icecream and games. His parents gave him the wii...could't have gotten a better gift. It's already gotten a ton of use:)It was Terens 21st birthday on the 11th so happy birthday to him too! On Thursday, Toby's actual birthday, I took him up to Park City to the Nike Outlet (his favorite store) and then to Market Street Grill for dinner for a much needed date! Friday we celebrated with my family by surprising him and taking him to the Institute where my Dad works and played games and watched a movie on the big screen. It was like our own little drive-in. We played air hockey,(I smoked Toby) crud, basketball, and volleyball. It may have been the greatest night of Cash's life because he could just go wherever he wanted around the gym without anyone grabbing him and picking him up.:) Thank you everyone for making this week so great for Toby. He is the best husband and father that anyone could ask for! The most unselfish person I know. Everything he does is for Me Elle and Cash so it was nice to be able to celebrate him and let him know our appreciation for him and all he does. We love you Toby!

Let's Take a Vote

Cash has been complaining lately that he just doesn't know what to do with his hair. He's not quite ready to cut it, but at the same time he's not sure how to style it. He's trying to decide between the alphalpha (Part down the middle) the Greg Downs (the Side Part) the Scott Sowby (spiky all over) or just stick to the original Cash look. He'd appreciate any input you have.

Unbelievably Cute

I did it! I finally figured out how to scan a picture onto my computer. I've only been wanting to do it for the past 3 years. It's a whole new ballgame now...lots of pictures to come and possibly even better posts now.:) Anyway I scanned these pictures of the kids onto my computer for all the world to see. Or the three of you who happen to check in on us every once in a while. Just kidding. Either way I think they did a great job and the kids look adorable. Also welcome 2 months late to baby Makayla! Josh and Krista had an adorable baby girl the end of August that we're already just in love with. Cute little family.

Halloween Festivities

Too many to write about so in lieu of boring you I'll post the highlights: (But get ready for Picture Overload) 1. Wimmer Family Halloween Party- the kids relay race...Elle was so darn cute. 2. The Carnival at the elementary school with the hodges. I loved watching the girls learn the "Monster Mash." 3. Elle's dance class Halloween Party. I had her all ready to go in her Pirate costume but she cried, "NO mom! Pirates don't go to dance only princesses do!" So we had to improvise and put her in her Belle attire so she could go to dance as a princess. Of course...I mean that makes sense. 4. Elle's preschool Halloween Party. She gets home from dance class and says, "Okay Mom, now I can dress as a pirate cause pirates go to preschool." Great news. 5. Carving jack-o-lanterns and jumping in the leaves with Brooklyn. 6. Celebrating Krista's birthday!!! 7. Going to Thriller with Josh and Krista and Joel and Tessa...spooky;) 8. Trick or treating with Elle and the first house we go to the man says to Elle, "Well what are you for Halloween?" She replys..."I want Candy." Let's skip the small talk and get right down to business. 8. Not knowing what to dress Cash up as so deciding that he can just go as Cash. (We think we're pretty funny.)
