COSTUME PARTY!

My friends sure know how to put on a party! We went to the funnest Halloween Costume party with a lot of our great friends in the neighborhood. The Samsoms had it up at their cabin which is about 1 1/2 hrs away...but the atmosphere was so worth it. I don't think I stopped laughing the entire night. The costumes were hilarious, the food was amazing, the decor was so darling, and the games were a RIOT. We played minute to win-it and "hows yours" for hours and had such a good time. Tob and I dressed up as Edward and Bella and I couldn't stop smiling every time I looked at Tob. H-i-l-a-r-i-o-u-s. He had the hair, coat, and pale sparkly skin down. It wasn't too hard to be Bella.:) I've told Tara and Jami that they're in trouble now because they'll be getting lots of pressure to throw this party every year. So grateful for good times with good friends.

The Little Mermaid

With all of the times that we have driven down to St.George in the last few months we never made it to "The Little Mermaid" at Tuacahn. When I realized time was running out I panicked and started making phone calls to make sure we could get tickets. Toby decided he couldn't take work off...but my parents decided they were up for the adventure! We left Wednesday afternoon and drove straight to Tuacahn for the play, the play got over at 11, we spent the night, and drove home the next morning. BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT!!!! What a production! The kids absolutely loved it and I got chills about 5 times. It was especially fun because we knew Flounder:) Michelle's nephew Peyton played Flounder and did such an incredible job. It was fun visiting with LeAnne and him after the show. And a HUGE thanks to the Kelsch's for letting us crash at their house. They are always so dang good to us. For the last six years of our families life we've gone down to St. George every three weeks for toby's job (until recently)...and I just can't believe we haven't been to more Tuacahn plays. One day I think we'll end up there:)

Our Anniversary

Eight years?!! Seriously? What happenned? Weren't we just plannig a wedding? It was Toby's year to plan our date. He took me to dinner at The Chefs Table in Provo and then shopping at my favorite mall. (We skipped the annual Melting Pot anniversary dinner seeing as how we went there for my birthday and we're going there in December.) Tob gave me about the best gift he could have....tickets to the BYU vs Hawaii game. Oh and it's an away game. What?! We haven't been anywhere since our honeymoon...I'm kind of a weirdo when it comes to leaving the kids. But we're doing it. Yes we are. Me and my best friend in Hawaii. Love him.
