Mr. and Mrs. ROGERS!!!!

JAMIE GOT MARRIED!!!! I can't even believe it. My little sister. The only one I have. The one that is supposed to be a foot shorter than me with big teeth and bangs. Now she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in this world. Her day was so Magical! We couldn't be more happy about her choice in Jace. What a great guy she's found. Honestly it happened pretty fast...she had always wanted an outdoor wedding...but thought that it would be too risky to do outside in September so after much searching we decided on the barn at Wheeler Farm. That meant that we had to do ALL the decorations and ALL the food etc. What a whirlwind those 2 months were! There were so many little things that you don't even think about it! Things I know I was oblivious to when it was my wedding;) My mom and I worked so hard...mostly my Mom though. She's incredible. What an amazing lady she is. She pulled off the wedding of the century. It was so incredibly beautiful. It was all of her little touches that just made it all come together. And it helps that Jamie has such beautiful taste. Everything was so shabby chic and vintage...I would have loved my wedding just like it if I was getting married now ten years later:) Her dress, the bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, every decoration, the food...everything was just perfect. Hope these pictures do it even a little justice. The BEST part of all? My Dad was able to seal her in a sealing that I will never forget. It was so sweet to watch him with his little girl as he was able to participate in the ceremony. The spirit was so strong and I really felt like my Grandma and Grandpa were there watching over us. We are all so very blessed. Welcome to the family Mr. and Mrs. ROGERS!!!!

Tate's Baby Blessing

Can't you just see how blessed we are by these pictures!??! We are surrounded by family and friends who support us in everything and I couldn't be more thankful. My heart was so full the day we blessed our sweet little baby Tate. We had just about all of our family there and even Tory and Janie drove out with their three adorable children to be there. Which, by the way, gave us a taste of what it would be like if they lived here. I couldn't have been happier watching Cash and Ayson play together. No doubt if they lived closer they would be the best of buddies. What a good-looking duo they are. We were grateful to have them here for the weekend. Toby gave Tate such a wonderful blessing. I'll always remember how he referred to Tate as his "handsome son". After Toby, Cash, and I bore our testimonies and honestly Cash's was the most sweet, heartfelt, sincere little testimony I've ever heard. I need to write it down here so I'll never forget it. It went something like this, "My name is Cash and I want to bear my testimony. I know this church is true. I know President Monson is a true prophet. I hope my baby brother grows up strong and healthy. And I know my family loves me. And I love you...all of you. And I go to church every Sunday. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." It made me cry. I love my kids so much. After Sacrament we had our families come over to the house for dinner and just to be together. We really do have the best family and friends. And we are so grateful to have Tate in our family. His smile melts my heart. He has been such a good little boy. We know he definitly belongs to us. Such a sweet day I hope I always remember.

First Day of 2nd Grade!!! and more of Tate:)

2nd Grade???!!! What the??! Don't ask me when this happenned. My baby girl is not so much a baby anymore. She is a beautiful little girl, inside and out, full of personality and with a smile that lights up the entire room. Elle has been such a big help to me since Tate has come. I've been dreading sending her back to school because I have now have no one to run grab a diaper for me, or wipes, or give Tate a bottle or hold him while I'm showering or cleaning. I asked her once if she got tired of me bossing her around and her reply was, "why would I get tired of that?" I love her. She is such a good big sister. Elle loves school and learning and can't get enough of reading books. She still loves animals as much as ever. And of course still take Callie, her Amerian Girl Doll, everywhere we go. While we were in St. George I took her school shopping and for the first time she said she actually might enjoy shopping a little....yeah!!!! I may just have a little shopping partner after all! I feel so blessed to have her as a daughter. I pray we will always be close and she'll always be my best little friend. Wish time would slow down!!!! And then I just had to throw one or two in of Tate because...he's very cute:)

Rodeo Week 2012

It just wouldn't be a complete summer without going to Preston Idaho for Rodeo Week. I don't know who looks more forward to it..me or the kids. This year we drove up in time to walk the sidewalk sale and although Toby was dissapointed they didn't have their usual sports cards stand, he was able to talk a vendor down on a darling wood sign for me:) It was great to be with all the cousins at the parade and as always we had a blast at the carnival. Jace and Jamie were walking around taking pictures for their wedding...(Yeah!!! Jamie's getting married...more on the later) and we were having such a good time taking the kids on all the rides. Toby and Jordan were awesome at shooting the basketball this year and were able to win each of the kids their own stuffed animal. We ate hamburgers and milkshakes, and carmeled apples and all the yummy stuff you're supposed to eat at carnivals and had a wonderful time together. Even Tate was happy all night. Yet another successful Rodeo Week in one of my alltime favorite places:)
