2nd Piano Recital

We love that Elle and Cash both have such a love for the piano. This was their second piano recital and Elle played a duet with Dale, "FOR GOOD" from Wicked and Cash played "YOUNG HOMIE" which is one of his and Toby's favorite songs together. They both did great and I'm hoping that their desire to get better and stick with it stays. Love seeing these two developing talents!

Revolution

After Toby's Dad passed Toby started feeling all nostalgic and when Cash mentioned he wished he could have seen his Dad play football that's all it took for Toby to join the Revolution again and play one more year of football. It wasn't always easy making it to the games but it was always worth it. Especially when Toby caught the winning touch down in the Championship game. My favorite moments were watching when Cash would go sit by him on the field or he'd put Tate on his shoulders after a game. Something about a Dad with his boys on the football field I guess. Pretty great. We were proud of him and his hands were still as sticky as ever!:)

My little guy is 2!!!

I'm not going to lie. I was so sick and down on bed rest when this little guys 2 year birthday rolled around that I had so much guilt feeling like a failure of a mom. I didn't even buy him a present. Nothing. I was grateful for help getting him breakfast in bed and grateful that we could use Kathy's pool and that I had family around to celebrate him with gifts and singing and make it a fun day for him when I'm used to doing so much more. I'm sure he didn't know any different. I'll never forget waking him up to our singing and in 2 second flat coming out of a deep sleep he jumped right up and joined us in song. What a little stud he is. Elle always comments on how it isn't possible to be sad when he's around. How right she is. We love you Tater Bottoms!
