Easter 2015

Lots of fun pictures from this Easter!! We really celebrated!!! Easter Egg Hunt at both parents house. What lucky kids. So fun have all our cousins here for the holiday. This Easter also fell on General Conference which in my opinion is the best way to celebrate Easter Sunday. The night before is when we went to Christensens and had the hunt and celebrated Janie's birthday and then the boys all watched the Priesthood Session with Teren in his room. Then next day we woke up and had another Easter Egg hunt just around our house. I LOVE watching Tate experience all these new things as he's gotten older and is really starting to "get" it. The Easter Bunny always hides the kids basket and then they have to go look for them. I love that Tate knew to look for his basket. It was the best. - Actually the Best was watching General Conference that morning. How perfect. We really did try to read to the kids and teach them a lot about the resurrection. Listening to the Prophet and Apostles speak on Easter Sunday just made it the perfect Easter. I had to snap that picture of my two little boys on their together watching conference. Does my heart so much good. After conference we headed to the Down's for another Easter Egg hunt and a little lesson. My Dad talked more about the resurrection and I can tell my older kids are really understanding it. They know what Easter is really all about. It was a wonderful day.

BYU Alumni Day

This is a day we look forward to every year and it's getting even funner now that Cash is getting older and loving sports so much.

It was a little bit colder than normal which made it a bit harder for my little baby. And actually my oldest. Elle complained a lot. But they had the bar b que in the stadium this year...same place as the game which made it soooo much easier. I love seeing the Paynes there. I miss them. It's our one place we know we can catch up with them. Cash had a blast meeting some of the players, and even the head coach, Bronco Mendenhall, took some time to talk to just him and take a pic. It was cute he said he planned to see him in the year 2028, right after his mission. As he ran around on the field I had these visions of him 15 years from now playing for real out there. Crazy. He and Tate couldn't get enough of running around with the football on the field. Oh and Toby kicked a 35 yard field goal. It was cool. We teased Matt that his job on the team really wasn't that hard afterall.  At the end of the evening Patty Edwards came up to introduce herself to me. I assured her I knew who her and Lavell were and thanked them for all they'd done for our family. Such great people and a fun evening as a family.

Gardner Village

This was just a fun little day spent with my kids and my mom. We'd never gone to see the fairies at Gardner Village so we thought we check it out. They were darling. The kids loved being outside and getting some fresh air. We couldn't get Tate out of the toy store. He fell in love with this train table. The owner of the store told Cash he looked like a total athlete and Cash told him who his Grandpa Todd was. Next thing you know he gave Cash a plush raiders football and told him to always think of his grandpa when he played with it. So sweet. Tate loved petting the horse and feeding the ducks too. I really like Gardner Village. So fun to see the Witches, the elves, and now even fairies. Super fun.

Dying EASTER Eggs

I feel bad thinking on the past year and all that we missed because of how sick I was with the pregnancy. One of those things was coloring Easter eggs so I wasn't about to let that happen this year.  I was a little stressed how I was going to pull this off without Toby...(Four kids and dye is a little scary) he was out of town again. But one phone call to my parents and Jordan and they were right there to help. At the end of the night I heard Jordan say "Geeze there for of us and four of them and we still got worked."  haha It is a lot of work but soooo worth it. I mean look at those happy faces????!!!
