Halloween Night!

We had a great Halloween night. Fun costumes, lots of candy, Grandma's enchilada's, Scones, and of course Trick or Treating. It was our first time in this neighborhood and it was awesome. Lots of kids everywhere. Toby rode around on one of Travis Ashby's hover boards along with some of the other dads and it cracked me up. We had such a great night. Happy kids and ended with Garfields Halloween. Wouldn't be Halloween without it.

GARTH BROOKS

Now THIS was a night to remember. Honestly one of the funnest most incredible nights I've had in a long time. When my girlfriends and I heard that Garth was coming to Salt Lake we knew we were buying tickets as soon as they went on sale. It was me, Lindsay, Errin, Joelle, Jody and Leslie. (somehow we miscommunicated and Shea bought tickets with her aunt:(  - Brandon decided to make a night out of it and surprise us with a LIMO which was filled with treat bags, fruit, sparkling cider, and the cutes little cowgirl hats. The limo drove us to Tsunami for Sushi and we had such a good time laughing and talking about everything under the sun. Then it picked us up and drove us downtown to Energy Solutions Center for the concert. I have NO WORDS for this concert. Garth Brooks was UNREAL. I've been to a lot of concerts in my life but NONE like this one. He was incredible. We sang and danced to every word of every song. It was so so good. At one point John Stockton even came out and announced Garth would be getting his own banner along side some of the Jazz greats for selling the most tickets to an event of all time. Garth called us the classiest crowd he'd ever sung to. I didn't want it to end. I think he came out for about 5 encores no joke and he ended with one of my favorite songs of all time "Standing Outside the Fire." It was just so good. We couldn't stop talking about it. I'm usually so ready to get home after a girls night but this time we all just wanted to keep talking about it so we headed to our old Leatherby's for some ice-cream and fries. I got home pretty late. And I didn't wipe the smile off of my face for like 3 days. It was a night I honestly won't forget.

Halloween Festivities and random pics

I think this will be the last year I can convince my kids to dress up how I want them to but come on. This is hilarious. PRINCESS BRIDE!!! Seeing Tate run around as Inigo Montoya will be something that i will NEVER forget. Classic Tate. He left that wig on all the time?! So So cute. I thought it was something incredible. We loved having Josh and Krista host the family Halloween party with bobbing for apples and donuts on a string. We did the corn maze before and that was super fun too. The rest I think are just random pictures. This is such a fun time in our lives. Super hard with two small kids and so busy, but so fun. Trying to treasure all enjoy all the fun times we are having together. I know they'll slip away too fast!

SeaWorld!

The last day of our trip. This day did not turn out as well in the beginning. It was actually quite rough. I'm not sure what the problem was. Tired maybe? Lack of Preparation? The drive to get there was long, once we got there we couldn't figure out the discount on the tickets, and then once we got in the park we literally got separated from my parents FOREVER. Like hours. It was the weirdest! We had no service on our phones while we were there. Drove me nuts. Toby was tired of waiting for everyone. I went back to look for Mom and Dad and the whole first hour or two was the worst. The park was only open until like 5 which was totally strange so we didn't even have that much time there. AND the park is like kind of ghetto now. The trainers can't get in the water with the whales which is what make Seaworld SEAWORLD. I'm glad my kids got to experience it but we probably won't be back. We made the best of it though and my kids were none the wiser. They got to ride Atlantis over and over and as long as it wasn't breaking down they were able to get on it without a wait. The kids loved the pet show. It was actually pretty cool, they got to pet a cute Kangaroo. They also wanted to sit down in the splash zone for the dolphin show so grandpa was brave and went down with them to do that. All and all it was a good day but made me super sad and wishing for the old Seaworld. It was the best.
