Dreams Do Come True!!!

Honestly, I can't believe I'm even writing this. It's something Toby and I have been dreaming about for 6 years. We've layed in bed at night and dreamed about it. We've driven by them and imagined one of them being ours one day...and now it is!!! Toby and I finally own a condo in St. George at the Las Palmas resort!!! Ah!!!! We honestly could not be happier. We have been staying in these condos since Elle was just a baby and everytime we'd talk about what we'd do with one and which one it would be. I just can't believe it really happenned for us. We've been looking for so long...and then one day our friend Max posted one of the internet and said it was the best deal he's seen in years and years and couldn't resist letting someone know. I showed Toby and it just snowballed from there. We got the deal of a lifetime. It's a 3rd floor, 2 bedroom Condo in building 12. Honestly it had a lot of work to do...but we were more than up for the task. The problem was that Max wanted to rent it out long term to some people that needed it within 2 weeks of when we closed. That gave us a very short amount of time to get it repainted, recarpeted, and fully furnished. Luckily we had been saving all of our old furniture for years and didn't have to spend much money at all cause most of it was our stuff. Cam Kelsch helped us hire a man to paint the whole thing, which saved us because honestly that's where my biggest stress was coming from. That and the back patio which the floor of it was rotting and disgusting and Toby had to pull it all up and completely re-do it. I was so impressed with all of his hard work and his skills of recarpeting it. It was a very VERY stressful week or two with lots of driving, packing, loading, unloading, cleaning, painting, shopping, (all while being quite pregnant but it was good to give me a distraction for awhile) and we couldn't have done it without my parents and brothers help. Thank goodness for family. It turned out Beautifully!!! It's our dream come true, our little piece of Heaven on Earth. We feel so blessed to have this place and hope that it will just stay in our family for ever. We LOVE condo #1216!!!!!

The Whirly Twirly Ball

Our gym put on this Daddy Daughter Dance called the Whirly Twirly Ball and when Toby saw it asked Elle if she'd go with him. Well they advertised this ball for about 2 months and we didn't go ONE TIME that Elle wouldn't remind Toby that they he had asked her to go to it. We were even in St. George the weekend it was happenning and left early to make sure the two of them made it. She was SO excited!!! It sounded like they had the time of their lives together. The gym did such a good job and had a nice dinner for them, crafts, a picture booth, gave the girls wands and wings, and even took them on Hummer Limo rides. Tob told us how uninhibitated Elle was dancing and how she busted out all sorts of new moves in front of everyone...hmmm..sound familiar? Cash and I stayed home together and ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches but neither of us minded..luckily the two of us get a long pretty well too;) I'm sure Tob and Elle have started a little month of Frebruary tradition. Too cute.
