Quick Getaway To Our Favorites...The Kelsch‘s

Yet another quick getaway to escape reality and enjoy some warm weather. Michelle mentioned to me that she wish we could come down and help her pick out some new things for her remodel and she probably didn’t realize I’d take her up on it that fast but the next day I asked Tob if we could just go and within in an hour or two we were in the car and on our way! Hahah. My favorite kind of trips. My boys love the Kelsch’s boys so much and they just play all day long. We were only there sat-mon but we got lots of laughing, eating, and a little shopping in. Then Monday they said let’s take the boat out and I could not have been more excited because my kids had never really been on one! They were so awesome and patient with us as they each tried wakeboarding and surfing and trey helped Tate and Kemp get up on the surfboard with him. We were dying laughing because right after trey helped kemp get up on the surf board and it’s load and windy and he’s barely holding on to trey’s leg he says something to trey and trey can barely hear...he says what kemp and kemp repeats do you want to play fortnight with me when we get home?!  Hahaha what in the world?! Funny guy. My kids were smiling from ear to ear and honestly so were Tob and I. How are we so lucky to get such incredible friends like the Kelsch’s. They just mean the world to us. They are so good to us and it is so nice to feel like you can just completely be yourself. They are more like family for sure. Great couple of days together.

Silver Lake

Covid didn’t stop us from our annual September birthday gathering at Silver Lake this year! Everyone who could come came and we had our picnic, sang and opened presents, and walked around the lake and took pictures like we always do. We saw the biggest moose this year pretty up close. Super cool. The weather was nicer than usually but still got chilly by the end of the night. We missed Joel up there but loved taking this sibling pic...we may need to superimpose him. Loved spending time in the mountains and this annual gathering usual signal to me that fall is on it’s way!
