Elle's Region Tennis Tournament!

Proud of this girl and all she did this year in tennis. She started out as a varsity singles player but because of some of the other girl injuries they moved her up to Varisity Doubles. She had to switch partners a few different times but ended up mostly being with Elle. I thought they did really well together! They ended up placing 4th in Region. Which is great and totally qualifies her for State! I feel like she’s gotten so much better over time. She’s really been putting in the work and I’m so proud of her. Happy that my dad got to come and watch her a little and so did Jamie and Jace. Grateful for her little fan club.

Toby Being Released from the Bishopric & Sunday Selfies

This was such a bitter sweet day. So hard because my husband has served so well for the last 6 and half years and we’ve had so many incredible experiences and blessings come from it and it’s hard to let that go but sweet because we’re ready for him to come and sit with us again. It’s been over 9 years since he’s sat with us since he was on the high council in our previous ward. It was also sweet because Ryan Stevens got put in as the Bishop. Can you believe that?! Josh’s best friend and he’s been more like a brother and uncle to us over the years. So that is going to make the transition that much easier. This bishopric and the new bishopric both bore beautiful testimonies as well as Kat. Toby was quite emotional in his. It touched me knowing how much he enjoyed serving this ward. In our interview with the Stake President he let us know that he has almost never seen Bishop Butterfield get emotional but he did for the first time when he was asked how he felt about Toby. I thought that was pretty special. On to a new chapter for us…

Elle's St. George Tennis Tournament

Elle had a tennis tournament in St. George this weekend but with everything we had going on we couldn’t stay over night so we drove down for just the day to watch our baby girl play. Now that is what I call LOVE. It was hot as all get out. I had to change clothes twice so I don’t even understand how they played in it. Elle did awesome. I know she had such a fun time with the other girls. Glad she gets to experience things like this! Her team took first overall in the tournament.

BYU Game at Raiders Stadium!

Got to go experience the Raiders Stadium BYU style!!! It was a little more family friendly that it probably will be. Hahaha …but LOVED every second of it!!! Such an incredible stadium. SO BIG and so neat. LOVED taking our boys to this. Elle had to stay back for tennis but the boys would appreciate it more anyway. We got to see Grandpa Todd’s brick and his huge picture on the wall as you go down the escalator. We met the coolest guy who at the end of the game took us down a special elevator to see the 3 Super Bowl Lombardi trophy’s and show us where the EX raiders players get to hand out. He told us we could come here anytime. How incredible is that?! It was super fun. Tate fell asleep in my arms during the game. How on earth do you do that? Got to see lots of old friends and just had a really good time.
