Daddy Daughter Dance 2014

Elle waits for this day for an entire year. It's her favorite. And quite honestly probably Toby's too. They are so freaking adorable together. I've always said they are two peas in a pod. So much alike and they adore each other. Our gym is awesome. I love that they put this ball on every year for Daddy's and Daughters. This year they invited Josh to bring his girls and go and they met up with Ryan Stevens and his daughter and appears that they had a fantastic time together. How cute are Elle and Brooklyn posing together with their props. They danced, ate, danced some more, took a ride in a limo, and waited for the much anticipated balloon drop. I of course had to take advantage of the night and enjoy an evening with my boys. Love the one on one time we get with these kids. They are growing up much to fast.

STATION PARK!

One of the many perks of having a sister who is an amazing photographer is she can follow you around on a normal day and take some awesome candid pictures of you and your kids. Seriously how cute are these?!? I just love Station Park and again the kids were off track so we had to take advantage of our free time. I Love it here because we can compromise....I can take the kids to the playground, the pet store, the candy shop and I can go shopping at TJ Maxx, Forever 21 and H&M. Brilliant. I love the ones Jamie took of Tate getting caught with his hand in the candy jar. So cute. And the ones where we are watching the fountains. And the ones of the older two kids picking out their candy. And the ones of Tate just walking around being the little stud baby that he is. These three are my whole life. I love days like this.

Quick Trip to Preston

What's a better place to go while the kids are off track then good old PRESTON IDAHO?! We hadn't seen Betsey's twins yet and thought it'd be fun to visit Joel and Tessa and their kids so up north we went. It was a quick trip but worth every second. The Mosers front "yard" made the most perfect sledding hill and the kids spent hours going up and down it. They would just go on FOREVER! I thought Tate would enjoy it more than he did but guess he's a lot like his mother and preferred to be warm indoors. We miss having Hadler and Avalie around so it was great to see them for a bit too.

Happy HEART Day!!!

Happy Valentines Day! February is full of celebrating LOVE at our house. We got to make lots of valentines for school friends and dance and family members and neighbors which is so fun for me and the kids. I also love giving the kids little gifts like Elle's Audrey Hepburn shirt, Cash's Captain America Belt and Tate's Ticklemonster book. They deserve it because they are so freaking adorable and loved. On Valentines we wanted to make sure Kathy felt LOVEd and wasn't alone so we had her and TJ and Teren over for a pizza party and movies that night. We had a great night together and were glad we could be together. Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Greg kept their tradition alive of leaving their valentines for the kids on the front porch and ringing the door bell but they are getting slower in their older age so the kids caught them and they came in for a visit. Tob and I really never celebrated alone so I threw in this pic of us like 10 years ago at Lake Tahoe. I LOVE this guy more and more every day. Grateful for Holidays like this so we can show our love and appreciation for those we care so much about.

The DINOSAUR Museum

I live for the days that Elle and Cash go off track. We try to go out and do fun different things as much as we can and really take advantage of their time off. Why we haven't made it to the dinosaur museum before I have no idea. Errin and Linds called and we decided to make a day of it. The kids LOVED it. Only problem was they both just have toddlers so they were constantly on the move and Elle and Cash wanted to go slowly, soak it all in, and read every sign. After we went to lunch at Arctic Circle but the kids wanted to go back so bad so Toby met us and back we went. Tate especially loved the sandbox at the end. He was in his element. We invested in an annual pass to Thanksgiving point so I'm sure we'll be back again. It really is a cool place. VERY BEST part? Watching Cash and Tate walking down the hall holding hands.

My Heart is Full

What else can I say? My heart is full. Having these three in my arms and reading them a story. There's nothing better. They may exhaust me. I may lose my patience more than I'd like to admit. Being a mother is difficult and trying and at times frustrating but I wouldn't change it for the world. I'm the luckiest Mom in the world to have these three.

TATE

We all ADORE this little boy. His smile lights up the room. He's so different from our first two kids. He's stubborn, funny, quirky, lovable, crazy, and just lights up our lives. He misses the kids so much when they are at school and gives them the biggest hugs when they walk in the door. He's into everything, still obsessed with bubble guppies, and yells at all of us all day for "Chock it milk"!
He gets his way WAY more than he should and is just started to mimic so many words that we say. My favorite is "star." I need to get it on video so that I can remember it forever. We Love you Tate. And we know you love us too!
