Kelschs Take Off!

Today we said goodbye to our best friend the Kelsch's! They are taking off on a year long RV trip around the United States and we are so grateful they stopped by to give us a big hug as they took off on their adventure. We will miss going to their house so much and spending time with them but I am so happy for the memories we are going to make. As you can see by Kemp's face he is going to really miss them. He actually ran down the street after them crying and I had to go after him. Bless his little heart.

Memorial Day

Spent a beautiful day going around visiting our loved ones graves this Memorial Day. We started off by heading up to Richmond (up by Preston) to see Grandpa Ned and Grandma June. Tory and Janie's family met us up there so after we had a fun lunch together at Big J's just down the street. Then we headed to Willard to see Grandma Doris, Grandpa Leo, Aunt Rene and Uncle Basil, and my great grandparents. It was so neat to see how much Tate cares about these grandparents and our loved ones that passed have passed on. He asked for stories about them and then he'd lay his head on the ground next to their graves and give them hugs. It brought tears to my eyes. He's such a sensitive kid and has so much love in his heart. He did the same thing when we went to Ogden to see my Grandpa and Grandma Wimmer. He asked so many questions again and gave big hugs. So sweet. Sure miss these grandparents of ours. They were such a big part of our lives and I am so grateful for the example and legacy they left behind.

LAGOON!

Oh man. All of these pictures make me laugh! Especially the difference in Tate's face versus Kemps. We could barely get Tate to go on the Tidal wave. Poor kid was terrified. Cried his eyes out. And then there is Kemp literally living his best life! Cracked me up! We had such a wonderful time together. The older kids LOVE the bigger rides and roller coasters and I don't mind taking the little kids around at all. They love the game too. Kemp got a hole in one and won the cutest little blue dinosaur. These are the kind of days I live for and love making memories with my family.

End of SCHOOL!

Ended the school year with a Battle of the Books with Cash in which he took second place! Lots of end of school year programs, parties, carnivals, lunches (lisa took the kindergartners to Chick fil a) and celebrations! We ended the very last day with a party at the park with silly string and water balloons and pizza and playing with lots of the neighbor kids. Looking forward to a FUN FILLED SUMMER!!!
