Memorial Day

Spent a beautiful day going around visiting our loved ones graves this Memorial Day. We started off by heading up to Richmond (up by Preston) to see Grandpa Ned and Grandma June. Tory and Janie's family met us up there so after we had a fun lunch together at Big J's just down the street. Then we headed to Willard to see Grandma Doris, Grandpa Leo, Aunt Rene and Uncle Basil, and my great grandparents. It was so neat to see how much Tate cares about these grandparents and our loved ones that passed have passed on. He asked for stories about them and then he'd lay his head on the ground next to their graves and give them hugs. It brought tears to my eyes. He's such a sensitive kid and has so much love in his heart. He did the same thing when we went to Ogden to see my Grandpa and Grandma Wimmer. He asked so many questions again and gave big hugs. So sweet. Sure miss these grandparents of ours. They were such a big part of our lives and I am so grateful for the example and legacy they left behind.
