EASTER 2016

Easter is such an incredible Holiday. It brings so many feelings of love, gratitude, renewal, and also fun! I love the symbolism of it being in the spring. I love watching my kids gather easter eggs and both grandparents house, I love watching movies from the life of Christ. I love growing our own easter grass. I love dying Easter Eggs together. I love picking out the Kids Easter Outfits for Easter Sunday. I don't however love trying to get a picture of them altogether and smiling. That seems an impossible task. But we had a great Easter this year. How grateful I am for my Savior Jesus Christ. For his sacrifice for me and for my family. I love the plan of Happiness. It brings me so much Joy!!!!

Happy Leprachaun Day!!!

Always fun to celebrate St. Patricks Day in the Christensen Home. The kids look forward to their Leprachaun Steve's visit every year. He always puts on a fun treasure hunt for them with all sorts of goodies at the end in his Pot. We also had some fun Green meals. Green Smoothies and Green waffles for breakfast and fun Green Dinner that night. And thanks to Pinterest Mom was able to have a fun somewhat healthy St. Patricks day treat waiting for the kids when they got home from school. My Parents always made holidays pretty magical in our home growing up. I'm hoping I'm doing somewhat of a good job doing the same for my children. I sure love them.

My Cash

Cash isn't going to like me for this but I HAD to make sure I wrote down this little experience. It was a Sunday morning and with Toby gone to Bishopric I was trying to get all four kids ready along with myself and be on time to Church. It is not an easy feat. In the middle of all of this Cash is crying and I had no idea why. Everytime I asked he just cried harder. It was really starting to frustrate me. I asked nicely, I sat him down and asked, I asked Elle if she knew, nothing. He just couldn't get it out. I didn't have time to sit and bang it out of him. I was SOOO frustrated. His eyes were all red and swollen and he was a complete mess. I literally sent him to his room.Toby finally came home to help load the kids and asked what was wrong. When I explained I had no idea we both sat down and told him he had 5 seconds to tell me or he was going to be grounded. He finally took a deep breath and just said, "its just the same thing I always do! When I was up in my room I accidentally drank a sip of water from a water bottle!"   Bless his little heart. It was Fast Sunday. This little boy has a heart of GOLD. His tender feelings were hurt and he felt like he had let Heavenly Father down. What a great teaching moment it was as we explained that Heavenly Father was not upset with him and if he ever feels that way he can get down on his knees, ask for forgiveness, and Heavenly Father knows where his heart is and he can start over. Such a sweet little boy that I love with all that I've got!

How to Babysit a Grandpa

Walked upstairs to see Grandpa entertaining all the kids or rather all of the kids entertaining Grandpa while we helped box up their house. Pretty cute to see them all up there together hanging out in their room.  They adore their Grandpa and for good reason. Had to take a picture and document it for sure.

While Mom and Elle Are Away...

Just so more random yet completely adorable pictures of my kids. They are thee cutest. Ever. Although those top two are pretty heartbreaking. Elle and I had a shower to go to in Ogden for Lindzee and then thought we'd stop on a the way home and do a little shopping. Apparently we took a little too long because Toby said we were gone 15 minutes too long and that's when Kemps little accident take place. Of course he was kidding but sheesh. That was a pretty big bump on his head. Toby was pulled two different directions as Tate needed his help going to the bathroom and Kemp was headed to the pantry. Apparently he tried to shut the door fast so Kemp couldn't get hurt in the pantry while he helped Tate but misjudged the time and shut the door pretty hard on his head. He felt horrible and I was less than thrilled to get the picture but it is what it is. He's a pretty tough little boy. Love him to the moon and back.
