And then there was 3!!!!
Where to start??! Last week I recieved in the mail the new blog book I had printed for the year 2011. As I read through all the posts and pictures I realized I had left out one MAJOR detail of the year. WE'RE PREGNANT! Of course it wasn't a slip-up on my part. I left it out for a bunch of different reasons but since these books are our families history I need to add it now. (Although this is going to just be a quick overview...I'll leave all the personal thoughts, feeling, and events to my personal journal:) I think that's why I haven't blogged about it yet. A lot of what's happenned is very personal to Toby and I. When Cash was about 2 years old we decided it was time to start trying for our 3rd child. It took a little longer than we had expected but when we finally found I was expecting we were so excited. A few weeks later I miscarried. I had NO IDEA how hard a miscarriage was until I experienced it. I didn't even understand half of what these women who deal with miscarriages go through. It's pretty horrible and the way I handled it was keeping it pretty private, between Toby and I. I really wanted to start trying again as soon as I could so after a month or two we did. And nothing happenned. Long story short 2 years later we were still unable to get pregnant. Those two years felt like an eternity to me! I understand that there are many couples who can't get pregnant at all or who wait much longer...and my heart goes out to them. We tried all sorts of differents medications and tests to see if we could figure out what the problem was. We also tried IUI (artificial insemination) 3 times with no success. Then in October of 2011 while we weren't even trying due to an ovarian cyst I had on my ride side I found out I was expecting. To me it was my own little miracle. I was so excited to tell Toby but waited until our anniversary to do so. We both cried. The next few months were a little scary because of some on and off bleeding I had...and at one point we were sure for about a week I had miscarried again...but here I am April of 2012, 32 weeks pregnant and as happy as could be. Again, there's so much more to the story that I'm writing elsewhere but just had to share a small portion of it and express my gratitude. I am so thankful to a loving Heavenly Father who knows our hearts and desires and continues to bless my little family every single day. We decided to not find out what we are having so we are even extra excited for June to roll around. There isn't a prayer that goes by without Elle and Cash asking for this baby to come out soon and healthy...and their mom agrees! I'm not one to take a bunch of Pregnancy pictures. I probably should for memories sake...but here's one Elle was dying to take of me at 32 weeks pregnant. Here's hoping the next 8 weeks FLY BY!!!!

Easter 2012
This year Easter weekend fell on the same weekend as Spring Break. And I can't take the kids having school off and not going somewhere! And what a better place to go than sunny St. George?! Our family loves that place so much. I don't know if it's because for five years we went down there twice a month or if it's cause our close friends the Kelsch's live there....maybe a combination of things...but it feels like a second home to us. LOVE IT! We spent the weekend with the Kelsch's hanging out, shopping, went to Mirror Mirror(movie), out to eat, and just relaxing. It was heavenly. They really are like family to us. We drove home Saturday night so we could make it to Josh and Krista's for a barb b que and an egg hunt. My mom of course had the cutest things planned for the kids. They all did the bunny hop and every egg they found with a sticker on it they could turn in for a prize. The kids ate it up. It was a wonderful evening. Sunday we woke up, had a nice breakfast, and then got ready for church. I really wanted the focus this day to be on Christ and his atonement for us and not so much on the Easter Bunny so we had our Easter lesson first. I thought it went so well. I found the cute idea off of pinterest to fill 12 eggs with different things that symbolize the Easter story along with a scripture. We had such a wonderful discussion on Jesus and what he did for us and then watched a great movie to go along with it. I loved it. Then of course after we went on the hunt to find the kids Easter baskets. Good stuff. Oh and side note, I was going crazy over mine and Elle's coordinating Matilda Jane outfits...Seriously too cute..I'm in love. After church we drove down to Provo and had a lovey Easter dinner with the Christensens. Kathy is such a wonderful cook. We ate, played charades, went on a walk, and enjoyed being together. Couldn't have asked for a better EASTER!
COACH PITCH!
We have one happy little boy at our house. He moved up from tee-ball this year to Coach Pitch and Cash is SO proud. In fact during his first game they got the machine out and Cash hit off the machine the first time! Honestly, I didn't think he was ready, but Toby always has more confidence in the kids abilities and was all for it. He was right! Cash's team and his coach are just awesome. I love the close up picture of him...I caught it while he was running home...he turned around to smile at me while he ran. Melted my heart. LOVE HIM!
Happy Leprachaun Day! 2012
Our leprachaun Steve made his annual visit again this year and the kids couldn't have been happier. Elle is so cute leaving her notes for Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and now our Leprachaun Steve. It cracked me up that she asked for 6 real gold pieces and then offered him anything he wanted in return. I'm sad to report she had to settle for 6 chocolate gold pieces instead. We enjoyed our green shamrock pancakes,(don't laugh:) green milk, and green smoothie...that I've finally mastered so the kids love it now. They went on a treasure hunt around the house and found their Pot O' Gold out in the garage...I'd say the day was a success without too much pinching going on:) Happy St. Patricks Day!!!!
Mom's Birthday!
I LOVE any excuse to celebrate my Mom. She does so much for me and my family...and everyone else for that matter! She is always thinking of others, cooking dinners for everyone, watching our kids constantly, too much to name. Her birthday fell on a Sunday so it was more layed back but we really enjoyed having everyone over for dinner, cake and icecream, and opening presents. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! We sure LOVE you!
