Palm Springs baby!
Congrats to TORY and JANIE!!!! They welcomed an adorable baby girl to their family and we were so lucky to be able to drive down to Palm Springs to Ruby's blessing. As always they showed us a great time and we enjoyed every minute with them. There was a lot of driving but the kids were so good and it was definitly worth it. The first day they took us to Joshua Tree National Park for a really fun hike. The kids LOVED it I tell ya! What kids wouldn't love running free climbing all over huge rocks and jumping off of them?! Janie provided a wonderful picnic lunch and we loved being together. Where are all the pictures from this??? I didn't bring my cell phone and my camera was broke at the time. Janie I'll need to steal them from off your blog if you post them there or something...we had such great shots of the kids. Great memories. - The next day we fulfilled Elle's lifelong dream (Of approx 1 yr) of taking her to the American Girl Doll Store. She had been waiting for this day since she got her doll and she'd been earning and saving money for it the whole time. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT WORTH THE FOUR PLUS HOUR DRIVE there and back!!! Tob and I wished we had recorded her walking through The Grove and spotting the store. Pure Excitement. Callie, her doll, got her hair done, ears pierced, new book, brush, earrings...she had quite the day out herself. The ladies at the store were so impressed that Elle had a little bag of money to hand them that she had earned herself and they were so good to help her count out every penny and nickel. *sidenote this was totally Elle's day and Cash was an angel watching her. He didn't complain once being in a girl store and even kept telling Elle he really liked things that she picked out. I absolutely love that kid. If I could describe Elle's day in 1 word it would be MAGICAL. And I was in heaven watching her. Nothing like be a Mom. I got to sneak in a store or two while Tob took the kids to the fountain and when I was walking to find them I looked over towards the Nike store and saw one of the best looking guys I've seen with 2 of the most adorable children ever eating a piece of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. Did my heart so much good:) I love driving through L.A. Just something bout' it. We went to dinner the last night with Janie's family and Todd and TJ and the next day was the blessing. Tory did a wonderful job with the blessing and the meal after was wonderul. TOTAL SUCCESS TRIP. Thank you Tory and Janie for being the hostesses with the mostesses. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!
