First Piano Recitals

I'm really grateful for Toby's persistence in wanting to sign the kids up for piano lessons. I was reluctant because I thought I could teach them myself but honestly it just never worked. We'd forget or I'd lose my patience with them or we'd lose track of where we were. It just wasn't working. So we found a guy in our stake named Dale Jesse and his is AMAZING with the kids. He helped them compose their own songs for the first recital and they named them themselves. Elle's was titled, "SNOWFALL" and Cash's was "SERIOUS PIANO."  I could NOT have been MORE proud. They were both nervous but they both did so great. They had only been taking for a few months and they sounded amazing to me. And they never complain about practicing or going to piano at all. They love it. And of course Tate had to get in on the action. I really hope they keep this up. Love them. 

Swing on Little Boy

Yes that's my 18month old still in his swing. I don't care what anyone thinks....he loves it and i LOVE him in it. Keeps him my baby. I laugh that it's to the point he grabs his little sippy cup and blanket and climbs up in there himself to relax. His little legs hang over and his feet almost touch the ground but no worries. He's still got like 3 pounds to go before he hits that 25lb max limit. 

Little Fish

I can not WAIT for this summer to watch Tate in the water! We took the kids swimming at our gym and little taters was in seventh heaven. The kid is fearless. They don't allow floaties in the pool and he wouldn't put a lifejacket on so Toby just held him most the time but it's so funny cause he doesn't want to be held. He pushed off of him and just wants to do it all by himself. Good luck buddy. I love watching my kids play together. Does my heart much good. 

New Years 2014

It's a new year and this year we decided to switch things up a little and take all three of our kids to the Jones New Years Eve Party. As they get older it's so cute that they want to be with us on special occasions like this...and of course we want to be with them. So we loaded em all up and headed to the Jones for a fun night of food friends and crud. Elle and Cash had a blast and ended the night watching a movie in their theater room downstairs while Tate played and played till he got all tuckered out and then I laid him down in the other room and he went right to bed. Elle was determined to be awake till midnight to celebrate but honestly didn't make it but I did my best to wake her and at least have her watch Brandon's firework show. It was nice to be together. Looking forward to a great 2014!!!
