Disney Aulani part 2

Seriously there is so much to do at the resort and hotel itself that there really is no need to leave to go anywhere! But seeing as this was the kids first time we had a few places we wanted to take them around the island so we did rent a car and take them out once in a while. One of the fun places we took them was the swap meet at Aloha stadium. Honestly we've been there when it's been better, but we enjoyed some sweet pineapple and Elle bought a little Hawaiian dress for her American Girl Doll and Cash bought a really cool 3D puzzle of a pirate ship. Good times. The one thing that Elle has DREAMED about and talked about doing if she ever made it to Hawaii was swimming with a dolphin...So of course we had to make that dream come true:) We set up an excursion to a place on the island called Sea Life Park and got Toby Elle and Cash a chance to swim with a dolphin. We tried to not talk negatively about the experience around Elle but honestly the place was so disappointing. Other than being in the water with the dolphins WHICH was the most important part...the rest was so bizarre. Such an unclean place, very little sea life, nothing to really see, AND they would let me get even remotely close to take a picture!! What?!  How do you spend that much money and not get to take pictures?! Such a scam to get us to buy there photos. Boo. And Cash was so cold and scraped his knee up bad right before that I ended up having to CARRY him out of the park to the car. NOT an easy task. BUT it was all SOOO worth it just to see Elle's face playing with that dolphin. Gosh I love that girl. Also Toby's boss was so great to us and wanted us to go out and enjoy a meal on Stryker. So one night we walked (and hitched a ride in a golf cart)  to a place down the street called       and ate a very fancy overpriced meal, but no worries since we didn't pay for it. The rest of the time was pretty much spent playing on the beach, eating at the fun restaurants at Alauni, swimming, going to a luau there and enjoying every second of being together.
