Lagoon with the Stevens and Ashbys

So we hadn't lived in this new house very long before we really hit it off with a couple of families. We got talking with two of our friends, the Stevens and Ashby's, and decided to go to Lagoon together with all of the kids. Honestly I could say it was one of my best and favorite days of the whole summer. We had SUCH a Blast!!!! The kids all got a long so well. We laughed and laughed with the all the adults the whole day. It was just so easy to be together. I'm so grateful for good friends like them. The rides were a blast, we had a great lunch out on the lawn and just visited while the kids played and it was just a really good day. I'm already sure that we've made some friends for a long long time.

Home-made ICECREAM

Oh man that top picture cracks me up. I was suggesting something we do that night most likely trying to compromise since I probably promised the kids something awesome and then got too tires...and I look over and the kids have their arms around each other and are whispering. They were totally conspiring and were coming up with negotiations. I was DYING. Funny kids. We also got around to making delicious home made ice cream on the porch together one evening. Maybe one of the best nights of summer so far. I mean...just look at those faces!

A day at the Wimmer Farm

We have so much fun up at the farm. The kids are truly in heaven. We went up to celebrate the 24th fourth of July. Grandma Wimmers birthday. So wonderful to be with all of my cousins. The kids must feel so free and have such a good time with all of the animals. I mean look at the FROG they caught! Unbelievable. Takes me back to when I was a kid. Love sharing these traditions with my kids.

Baby Kellen Jett arrived!

He's here! Baby Kellen Jett has finally arrived! We're so happy for Jamie and Jace and for this perfect little baby that has joined their little family. He's healthy and doing so well. He and Jamie both are. My kids are so excited to have a new cousin. It's going to be so fun watching Jamie be a new mom and I'm sure there will be much hanging out, play dates, and outings with us and our little boys in the future.

Summer Break

Trying to get in lots of sleepovers, date nights with the kids, swim days, and lots of other things while we can. We're crossing off our bucket list slowly but surely!  - And that top pic is Tate asking me if he can "pet Kemp." Sure buddy.

St. George and My Birthday!!!

Where is a better place to spend your birthday than St. George?! We needed a little get away…and my parents did too…so down south we went. We woke up that morning and took he kids on the funnest little hike through slot canyon and to the top of Dixie Rock. We really need to do that kind of stuff together more as a family. Toby got me breakfast in bed from the Egg and I and we went running together and swimming…it was all just perfect. - Then that evening my parents watched the kids so that Tob and I could go on a date. And what a perfect dad it was! We went to eat at The Outback Steak House and then went to Fiesta Fun after. We went bowling together, mini golfed where I creamed him, and played arcades like we were kids again. We're best friends. I'm so lucky to have him. My friends and family know how to make me feel like so incredibly special. I'm very blessed to have what I have. It was a great great day and a great great weekend.
