Although Elle has given up every other type of dance she is holding on to and enjoying Hip Hop still a ton. It's Toby's favorite style and I KNOW that has something to do with it.:) She's so good at it and is so fun to watch up on the stage. Ran into a few of her old friends as well. Oh how we love this little girl!

Jazz Game Double Date
As much as we love and adore our two little boys every once in a while we feel the need to get away and spoil these two older kids that do so much to help us. Toby got some free tickets to the Jazz and we took advantage and took these two on a double date:) We had such a good time running around without a diaper bag and a stroller. Haha. We ate cup-bop and ice cream and enjoyed every second together. Oh and Elle can't go anywhere without her book. 5,000 screaming fans didn't bother her one bit. Love my little crew.

St. George Getaway
Toby had some work to do in Cedar City and the kids had just gotten off-track so we thought we'd make a quick little get-a-way out of it. We jumped in the car and drove down on a thursday evening and spent the night at the Marriott in Cedar city. The kids love the free breakfast and Toby was back before we knew it. He took the kids swimming and then we took off to the Kelschs. We were able to make it to one of Brysons baseball games, ate out at the spaghetti factory and came home and talked into the night like we always do, although we are getting older…can't stay awake like we used to. Kemp had been particularly fussy that day and honestly I'd never seen him cry like he did that whole day. Come to find out, we woke up Saturday morning to his ear having a bunch of drainage…his ear drum had ruptured. So sad. We had to make it home Saturday for Cash's basketball game anyway so we took him to the instacare by our house. But before we did that we decided to try our the Crepery instead of the Egg and I. Totally broke tradition but the kids just loved it! Funniest story…I had to take Tate to the bathroom which was out in this kind of hallway. After he was done I thought I'd hurry and go so I wouldn't have to on the way home. Right as I sat down he walked over to the door and put his hand on to almost open it. I yelled Tate don't even think about it! - He looked over at me with the sneakiest little look on his face and says back to me…"I am thinking about it." Little stinker. I couldn't stop laughing. He sure keeps life interesting. We love St. George and love our little vacations down there.

Elle and Tennis!
Elle has been in dance since she was 2 years old. She's now almost 11 so that's like 8 plus years. But the last couple of years we just have watched her loose her love and interest in it. Which I'm not going to lie has been hard for me, because I love to watch her dance. This last year we finally decided to go a different route and try Cheer. I didn't think it could get much worse but let me tell you…it did. Every Wednesday night somehow Elle got sick. She would have headaches, stomaches, you name it. It was really starting to drive Toby and I crazy. She'd get all tear eyed and quiet and sometimes even call us from cheer to come get her. She had committed to the team so it wasn't like when thing get tough we would just let her quit. But honestly it got to the point that she was miserable and it wasn't worth it anymore. We let her pray about it and decide whether she was ready to make up the money that it had cost us and choose something else to be engaged in and to help her stay active. Tennis it is!
and what a GREAT decision we made. She is SO happy while she is playing! She was smiling ear to ear her first lesson and couldn't wait to go back. Her grandma Debbie played in high school and her Grandma June played in college so it runs in her genes. I really am praying that she continues to love this sport and that she works hard at it and that it is something she can really focus on and be excited about. So far so good!

While Dad's Away
It is not always easy when Toby goes out of town. In fact, it's downright hard. BUT…I also do my best to make it very fun for the kids. They ALWAYS get to sleep in my room. We put on movies, get take-out, make cookies…and do our best to make the most fun out of it we can. Tob was gone for about 4 days for work. But we made it. We always do. And we are always SOOOO happy when he gets home!!!!

BOYS
These boys are so busy, hilarious, crazy, so sweet, and so exhausting. They make me laugh, cry, scream, and smile from ear to ear because I'm so proud of them. Not sure how I got so lucky but I feel so blessed to be their mother. I have so much to live up to and they deserve the very best. It's overwhelming sometimes…well most the time but I'm so so grateful. Cash puts his shirts on backwards 50% of the time. I love them.
