Both Tate and Kemp just finished their Jr. Jazz basketball season. They were awesome. Tate has really improved and his confidence has grown. In one of his games where he scored multiple baskets Toby told him "Tate you were incredible today! You were even better than Truitt!" and Tate replied. "No I wasn't dad....or was I?" Man we laughed about that for days.
We celebrated July birthdays over at the Institute again. The kids all really enjoy that.
Also a sad sidenote: It was kind of surreal to get the news that Kobe Bryant, his daughter and 6 others were killed in a helicopter crash. It's really rocked the sports world and actually just the world for that matter. Such a horrible thing and it's just things like this that puts perspective on life. Thought this picture of him with Todd is pretty cool. - And then just a random picture of all of us at the Gym. I love days that we can do that together.
