Wouldn't be Summer without a trip to Preston for Rodeo Week. Although I have to laugh at that because we haven't been to the rodeo for years. Just too hard with our long drive back and small kids. But someday soon we'll start going again. On our way up we stopped in Toby's favorite little town...Mantua. We took a walk around the lake and took some pretty pictures. Then on to Preston. We went straight to town and walked around the sidewalk sale and the park. The little boys really wanted to ride on the mechanical bull...we hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. They were so cute. It's always SOOO hot that day. We went back to Connies and ate and went out to shoot guns and ride the 4 wheeler. - Then back into town for the parade. As always there were insane amounts of candy and fun things thrown out. Caught this picture of Kemp scared to death at one of the floats and costumes driving by. After we just went to Big J's, the one on the way back home, and then just headed home. It's a long day but one of the best of the summer. Sure love that my kids get to enjoy the same traditions that I did growing up.
