Grandkids Night, Baking, Grinch Night, and Christmas at Grandma Kathy's

This is a night that both the parents and the kids look forward to! haha. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for taking our kids so that they can have the funnest nights making memories together and with you and so that Toby and I could enjoy a Hallmark Movie by the fire with take out food and peace and quiet. It was heavenly.

For Toby's work his boss sent us a baking kit to make 2 different kinds of cookies and have a bake off. Elle ate this up! They put on their aprons and baked away having a virtual competition and fun with a lot of Toby's co-workers. It was such a great idea and the kids loved it.

We had our first Grinch Night over at the Steven's house with soup and snacks and fun drinks, but honestly it was so low key we didn't end up watching the grinch or doing too many grinchy activities. We get together and we just talk and laugh and the kids play and that is a perfect Christmas night to me.

And last this week was our Christmas celebration at Kathy's house. Tory and Janie are going to be out of town for Christmas Day so we got together early. We all helped cook the best Christmas meal and sat around the table together. We opened presents and relaxed and played and had such a great time. We also did a new white elephant exchange with everyone that was really fun and i'm sure we'll continue to do year after year.  I'm really grateful for Kathy for all the she does for the family. We are very blessed to have Tory and Janie's family close and I'm really grateful for the relationship my kids have with their Uncle TJ and Teren. We really enjoy being in their home and love them all so much. Kathy spoiled us with a lot of food storage and after the year we've had it's exactly what I would have wanted. Perfect night!
