Tate's T-Ball

This kid had been waiting for his turn to play "t-ball" for I don't know how long! He wanted his turn to swing the bat and catch a ball just like he's watched his brother do for years. He looked so dang cute in his 4 sizes too big t-shirt and baseball cap. He got put on the Marlins team and he loved the colors on his shirt. These pictures ABSOLUTELY KILL me. Look at that sad face! This was when we got word right before his game that it was cancelled due to rain. Boy he was broken-hearted. It was so fun watching him all season hit that ball and then taking his time getting to first base, and then running all the bases and finally getting a "home run." He's just the best.
