Tate’s baseball season was just awesome this year. We really didn’t think he was going to be able to play because of Covid but they let little league open up, just later than usual. So we packed a whole bunch of games in and the kids were so happy to be able to play. Tate started out really great than had a couple of strike outs and it totally got in his head. He just couldn’t get out of his own head and he started striking out a lot. It was so hard for Tob and I to watch because he was just so sad about it and would just hang his head after each one. Broke my heart. But with the last half of the game left and after lots of practice home with dad he started hitting again and started fielding the ball really well and just started finding his stride. It was so awesome the watch. And the best part of all. Last game for Tate he got 2 awesome hits and got 2 outs on defense and the coach gave him the GAME BALL. I’ll never forget seeing his little face when he coach handed it to him. His whole face lit up and I could just see how much it meant to him. He was so excited that Grandpa and Elle and the rest of us were there watching too. We celebrated that night and made it a big deal because it was. Sure love watching him work hard and put the practice in to improve. We love our little baseball star!
