This particular trip to L.A. absolutely requires and deserves a series of its own posts. Just too many fun pictures and comments to throw it all together. The Christensen's invited us to go with them to the Cedar Sinai Sports Spectacular in LA. What a fun trip! It's amazing what you can fit in 3 days. Day 1: We drove from St george to LA and went straight to Venice Beach to meet up with the whole fam. Venice is one of Toby's favorite things to do in California. He absolutely love sto play street ball there and walk the shops. Unfortunately Cash wasn't feeling his best so we didn't get to stay as long as he would have liked...but the good news is as soon as we were finished there we got to go to Titos Tacos!!! Another all time fav. Then it was on to the hotel! This was not the Super 8 that I was used to staying in. You actually don't have a choice but to valet park..which was nice for the most part. I think our kids were possibly the only kids in the entire hotel. But we loved every minute of it. Todd and Kathy were the awesome grandparents that they are and watched the kids so Janie Tory and us could walk across the street to the outdoor mall and have some fun. The next day was Tory's birthday...which just gave us an excuse to have even more fun!!!! We all went to Shrek in 3D and then took a nice long walk down Rodeo drive and found ourselves ending up at Cheesecake Factory. Couldn't have been a nicer day. Here's a few pics to go along...
