Christmas In Color, Advent Calendars, and Buying Sibling Gifts

Well the Holiday Season is in full swing! We got right to it and went to Christmas in Color right after Thanksgiving! They moved it to South Jordan this year instead of out in Kearns so it was actually pretty easy to get to because it was right down the street! The colors were pretty and the kids enjoyed sticking their heads out of the sunroof. - On December first Christopher Popinkins shows up, our elf, and the kids get so excited to know he'll be around watching them and reporting back to Santa. We also give the kids their advent calendars. I can not believe how happy these things make my kids. It's like the gift that keeps on giving. This year even Kemp got one! It's the very first thing they do in the morning. I love how much they enjoy them and how they look forward to them every day. Cash's was a lego star wars one, Elle the Lego friend one, Tate's was the playmobil one, and Kemp got a Paw Patrol one. Super fun.  - We also took the kids recently to buy each others sibling gifts. I remember when my parents would take us to Jobbers Odd Lot and let us go free to find each other little gifts to give. We took our kids to Ross which is pretty equivalent. haha. I loved seeing them put so much thought into each gift. Tate had the hardest time being patient knowing that the kids have gifts from him in the carts being hidden, and the hardest time not wanting the give the gifts he had picked out to them right away. He's the cutest. At least we got it done earlier this year.
