2nd Annual Progressive Dinner and Gingerbread Houses

The days and nights have become so busy for so many of us and since we are always out doing different activities we never really get to see each others homes all decorated for Christmas. So last year we decided to start a new tradition on a Progressive Dinner where we drive around to each others homes and have hot chocolate at one, an appetizer at another, dinner at another, and then dessert. It's been super fun to see everyones Christmas Trees all decorated so differently but so perfectly for everyones personalities and to see everyones homes all Christmasy. This year it was a little bit of a hard time getting into Josh's home with the hard time that he is going through but we were able to run in for just a minute and see his as well which a lot of times we haven't been able to so that was really nice. We miss being able to see Joel and Tessa's. We'll have to start doing face-time with them or something. This was our first time seeing Grandpa and Grandma's "Cottage in the Woods" all decorated and it's amazing that even moving to a completely different place, and a much smaller place that they can still make it as homey and Cozy as they do. My mother does such an amazing job decorating and making everything so magical. My kids just love being there. We ended the night at her house and we did our GingerBread houses there that night. Wouldn't be Christmas without them.
