Christmas at the Christensens

Tory and Janie are not going to be here this year for Christmas. They are heading to Arizona and then Mexcio for Christmas so we decided to celebrate Christmas earlier with them. Kathy had the great idea of serving Mexican food so we all chipped in and brought some great things to share. Dinner was delicious and easy. Perfect combo. We all went into the living room and Tory shared a great lesson. The kids put on a great reenactment of the Nativity and then we sang some Christmas Carols. We then opened gifts from one another and enjoyed each others company. I always love being in their home at Christmas time although it is really hard at times to not have Todd there. He is so missed. I always wonder if he is able to look down at us and in a way be part of things or if he is just so busy sharing the gospel and carrying on the work on the other side. I have to mention how much Kemp loved his gift from Grandma. She gave him a frog pop up tent and he just couldn't get enough of going in and out of it. His face was priceless. It was nice to celebrate with Tory's family before they left for the actual holiday.
