One thing that was really important for me to do this Christmas season and was to get the kids to the Salt Lake Temple before it closes for it's 4 year renovation. Toby and I dropped the little boys off to Jamie's house and headed up to Salt Lake. We knew it would be crazy busy and it was. We had almost a 2 hour wait. It was almost 3 hours total but it was definitely worth it. It is such a gorgeous sacred building and I think it was really neat for them to be baptized by their Dad in their. I got to be the witness for the first time with the new change and that was neat as well.
Joni's Christmas party was at our house this year and was super fun although it got started pretty late because she got in a car accident on the way down. The food was super fancy either so I should probably step it up next year. haha. She spoiled the kids like crazy with 3 or 4 presents each. Brought me back to my days as a kid with her and Grandma. It was a fun night being together.
We all met up a couple of nights later to go see the lights! We all climbed in the back of Josh's truck for Christmas in Color and then we went on to drive to the Night Before Christmas Street and then hit a new one...the Grinch House! It was so adorable! Good times driving around drinking hot chocolate and feeling the Christmas Spirit:)
