Christmas is getting closer and closer! I thought this would be a fun year to throw Elle "a Favorite's" party for her and her friends so that's what we did! We had good food and desserts out and music and she invited a bunch of her friends and they all brought 3 gifts each to exchange with each other. They stayed a really long time so I think they had a fun night:)
One of my other favorite things to do is take the kids out to buy siblings gifts for each other. They are all so cute and thoughtful looking around the store and using their own money to pick out the best thing for each of their siblings. I love how much these 4 love each other.
We also spent a night making some fun Christmas treats and grinch cookies and watched lots of Christmas movies.
We were able to one evening take all of Elle's donations from her stuffed animal drive over to the new RoadHome. It's always such a special thing to watch her deliver what she's gathered to those who need it so much. That is what Christmas is really about.
Christmas Sunday was the next day. One of the best Sacrament meetings of the year. Such beautiful music and great talks. We had the best Sunday at home with just our little family. We needed the peaceful evening at home and had a beautiful lesson on our Savior and his birth and his life. It really was the perfect Sunday before Christmas.
